Today, Rab gave us NP lecture of GM foods. Keywords are "For corporations, benefits are much more important than people". I had not known anything about GM foods until Rab told us. Well, I'm scared of food because I usually don't look at the ingredients in the food and where it is from. People really don't care about GM foods until they actually get sick by it. I think I'll keep drinking coke even though it has 13 cubes of suger in it.
In the class, we talked about Morioka's reading! He is a professor of philosophy and ethics at Osaka Prefecture University. We talked about the afterlife and xeno as well. Xeno was kind of groos but interesting topic.

The sugar is only affecting you of course but what about people who didn't know it is there? Also is it ethically okay to support a company by buying its products if that company actually kills people to make more money by making its products cheaper? That is the reality of coca cola.
